We’re excited to announce “Red Water Red”‘s Asian Premiere at the 23rd Singapore International Film Festival (April 14-24, 2010). “Red Water Red” is the first graduating film from Australia to screen in 13 years.

Big congratulations to our Director of Photography – Laszlo Baranyai ACS HSC – who has just won an ACS Gold Award for his lensing on “Red Water Red”! The news was announced on Saturday 21st November at the Australian Cinematographer’s Society awards, which acknowledge excellence in cinematography. Congrats goes also to all our camera & lighting crew who helped us capture such outstanding vision!

We’re thrilled to announce that Qing has been nominated for the KODAK-AWARD New Director of the Year Award for “Red Water Red”! Finalists were selected from an impressive collection of entries from six countries across the Asia Pacific Region.

We’re in competition at the 2009 Stockholm International Film Festival (Nov 18-29, 2009)! That’s right, home of all things Bergman & just a little bit of Tarkovksy. “Red Water Red” is the first graduating short from Australia to be selected in 7 years, and will be screening 3 times with multi-award winning feature “Sin Nombre” (Best Director, Best Cinematography Sundance Film Festival 2009).
